Rossbeigh Beach
Just a short cycle from Glenbeigh village is our very own Blue Flag Beach – Rossbeigh! Legend has it that Oisin and Niamh rode a white horse into the sea at Rossbeigh in search of Tir na Nog, the Land of Eternal Youth. Stretching for 7kms, Rossbeigh offers beautiful views of Dingle Peninsula, Cromane and Inch.
The beach hosts an annual horse race every summer and is very popular for water-sports, horse riding and a great place to bring the smallies with a superb all-weather playground named Tir na Nog.
Take a right when leaving The Glenbeigh Hotel towards Caherciveen taking a right turn sign posted for Rossbeigh as you leave the village. Where you will cross a small bridge and take a right. This road will lead you all the way to Rossbeigh Beach. On route you will pass the local Fairy Forest where you can stop off at and even try a coffee from the Upcycle Mobile Cafe!
